Liverpool will be hosting their first game of October on Saturday. They will be playing against one of the top 4 teams this season, Brighton. The last time these two faced off was on March 12th and as expected Liverpool won with 2:0

So Liverpool is coming back from their Champions League win against Ajax where the Reds won as Salah scored the first goal and then the winner came from a header by Joel Matip in the 89th minute. Their last Premier League game was against Everton and as not very expected, Merseysiders were very evenly matched. The Reds are starting their October campaign in 8th place in the Prem as their start wasn’t the best.

Brighton on the other hand, played their last game against Leicester and without any big troubles they won with 5:2. But in this game Seagulls still had G. Potter as their manager/ coach. But Potter left Brighton and went to London to fix Chelsea, as the Blues are in terrible form. His first game ended in a draw against Leipzig. So Brighton needed to find another manager and they had. Roberto De Zerbi is the new manager and the game at Anfield is his first for Seagulls.
