Liverpool’s season has now come to a close and the players are setting of for international duty with there respected nations for the World Cup but for Jurgen Klopp and the rest of the Liverpool staff they are working tirelessly to improve and work on the next season.

This week began with a shock for all Liverpool fans as we announced the signing of decisive midfielder Fabinho for €45m, this announcement has certainly eased the distraught of the Champions League final defeat to Real Madrid on Saturday.

At 19:00 UK time, very reliable French sources stated that we had agreed a few for the Monaco midfielder and things were gathering pace pretty quickly, one hour later and English journalists such as Melissa Reddy, Paul Joyce and Jason Burt all confirmed this and said the deal was completed.

Another hour past by and suddenly Liverpool FC had announced the deal and everyone was over the moon, most supporters were shocked to have seen this as there have been no links to Fabinho joining and usually Liverpool transfers take forever to complete, pretty much an old school signing completed with no fuss. Another man Liverpool have been heavily linked to is Lyon and France forward Nabil Fekir, French sources such as GFFN and Canal + have stated the transfer is 99% complete and is likely to join soon. Reliable English sources such as David Maddock has said he expects Fekir to follow Fabinho to Anfield soon.

However, Fekir himself put doubts into Liverpool fans minds after his recent comments. Fekir said “I am not not close to Liverpool” but did reveal that discussions have taken place with clubs. He later said during international duty “I will discuss my future after the World Cup” Should Liverpool sign him they will need to first pay the €60m asking price that Lyon want and then convince Nabil Fekir that Liverpool is the right destination. Finally, and most possibly the most expensive deal Liverpool can make this summer window is the transfer of goalkeeper Alisson Becker or Jan Oblak, both have been heavily linked to the reds and will cost a world record fee to purchase… which according to Dominic King, Liverpool would be willing pay. Alisson’s price is confirmed at £79m by Roma and Oblak has a release clause of £87m, after Karius’ unbelievable shocking mistakes in the Champions league final, which cost Liverpool the trophy it’s hard to see him in a red shirt again.
