As every Liverpool fan knows the reds choice for left back hasn’t been ideal all season, with Alberto Moreno struggling to find form and immediately being replaced by central midfielder James Milner who has surprisingly been very consistent all season. Klopp is still believed to be looking for a genuine left back who can perform with Champions league football next season.

Last week many rumours linked Liverpool to signing youngster Ryan Sessegnon along with Hull City defender Andrew Robertson but both players seemed to slip swiftly out of Liverpool’s radar.

However, recent rumours have indicated that Liverpool are now interested in Algerian full back Faouzi Ghoulam who has been a been consistently good for Serie A side Napoli all season. Ghoulam is very strong going forward and known for his left footed crosses into the box as he showed in Napoli’s first leg tie against Real Madrid in the Champions league this season where he made life very difficult for the eventual champions.

As an experienced CL player is he the right player for Liverpool’s recurring problem?
