imageWith Liverpool winning the battle for the signing of Dominic Solanke, the 19 year old striker currently at Chelsea, we take a look at why this lad has sparked interest from various clubs.

Solanke is from Basingstoke in England and has been at Chelsea’s academy since 2004 but he will join liverpool for a fee of around £3million and a wage of less than £20,000 a week because of his age.

The young talent is primarily a striker but can also play on the wings. At Chelsea he scored many vitals goals at his time in the academy including 20 goals in 25 games during the 2013/14 campaign.

He was also loaned out to Vitesse with a record of 7 goals in 25 games for the Dutch club.

With the young Englishman’s contract running out at the London club this summer he will join Liverpool on 1st July and they have beat clubs such as RB Leipzig and Celtic for the youngsters signing.  When Solanke arrives on Merseyside he will play for the U23s at the Academy with other strikers such as Rhian Brewster.
