Liverpool are in pole position to sign Chelsea prospect, Dominic Solanke, 19. The teenager has let his contract run down and the fee will go to a tribunal, as he is under 24. (The Guardian)

The fee is expected to be around £3 million and he will feature as a back up striker. He is most likely to feature in the under 23s and cup competitions.

With the frequent injuries current first team strikers have been plagued with, there is no doubt he will be pushing for a first team spot. Solanke is yet to play a game in the Premier League and is a current England under 20 player. He scored 7 league goals in 25 matches while on loan at Vitesse.
