Liverpool’s current number 1, Simon Mignolet, spoke to our friends at the Echo regarding his future and has said “Everyone will see the numbers and think I am fighting this guy and this guy. But that isn’t how it is,” Mignolet told the Liverpool Echo. He also went on to say “I’m fighting against Manuel Neuer, Marc-Andre ter Stegen, Joe Hart, Iker Casillas. I know all those names are going to be flying around, I know what I did this season will be forgotten.”

The Belgian was dropped for the new signing Loris Karius who then was also dropped and since then has performed consistently throughout the most of the second half of the season. His has seen Mignolet’s goalkeeping statistics boost compared to every other season at the club.

On the other hand, Naby Keita has been showing no signs that he has his eyes set on a move to Anfield this summer. He told Bundesliga.com: “I really don’t worry about such things. My only focus is on our games and my performances; they are the most important things.”

Newcastle could make an attempt to make a loan move for Sheyi Ojo this summer, according to the Sunderland Echo which is of course their local paper. Newcastle boss Rafael Benitez was most definitely interested in signing Sheyi Ojo on loan in January but Liverpool rejected the move. He’s currently in South Korea for the U20 World Cup along with Ovie Ejaria.

Furthermore, with the Mohamed Salah links, his agent has reportedly followed Liverpool on Instagram and on his Instagram story has posted an image of him flying over to London. This has caught the eyes of many Liverpool fans globally interpreting that he’s coming over to London/Liverpool for discussions about the move to Liverpool.

Liverpool signed Dominic Solanke from Chlesea today for a fee possibly in the region of £2-3 million, which will be decided by a Premier League tribunal despite his contract expiring this summer. Solanke is only 19 years old and has been mistaken for a Champions League buy, when really he’s not, he’s one for the future among Harry Wilson, Sheyi Ojo, Ovie Ejaria and the list goes on.

Solanke has left Chelsea as he wasn’t getting enough minutes under Antonio Conte. While he was at Chelsea, he went out on loan to an Eredivise club (2015/16 season) who go by the name of Vitnesse, and made 25 appearances (1807 minutes), scoring 7 goals and 1 assist.
Liverpools new signing will more than likely go on tour with the Reds, and should debut during the Asia Trophy which takes place in July. The Reds also play 29 July: Hertha Berlin, (Olympiastadion, Berlin), 1 August: Audi Cup fixture TBC.
