Recent reports have linked Arsenal midfielder with a move to Liverpool in the summer. In addition to this there are rumours circulating around that Alex Oxlade Chamberlain himself wants to leave the Emirates club this summer. There will more than likely be a whole host of interested clubs other than the reds as well.

Chamberlain is currently 23 however he will be 24 in August so he is still a good age and I am sure that Jurgen Klopp would love the opportunity to potentially develop him into a world class talent. Chamberlain has also got 24 senior England caps scoring 5 goals and for someone his age having 24 caps for his national team is impressive.

In January however, there was rumours of Chamberlain moving to Liverpool however Jurgen Klopp claimed that those reports where ‘nonsense’. I do think that Chamberlain would be a good addition to Liverpool’s squad and he can also play in a variety of positions, an example this season being that he has played both on the wings and in central midfield. If you look at Chamberlain’s involvement for Arsenal this season he has only started 15 of the 29 games that he has played in and I presume that if he does want to move like reports are saying it would either be for more playing time or it would be to play for a manager who he feels can help him develop into the talent he could become.

Do you think Alex Oxlade Chamberlain would be a good signing for Liverpool?
