Dark night at Anfield… saw the redmen win 3-1 against rivals Arsenal. Liverpool were mighty during the first half. Goals from Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mané saw Liverpool cruising steadily for 3 points. A sweet dink over Simon Mignolet from Danny Welbeck pressured Liverpool during the 2nd half, but Liverpool fought back and scored with Georginio Wijnaldum.

Simon Mignolet 7

Was average during the whole game. Made a world class save, but should’ve saved Danny Welbeck’s shot. But we have to give him credit for starting us off when we scored the first goal. Overall, a big improvement from the Leicester game.

Nathaniel Clyne 8

Defended really well, and gave the Reds a push during Liverpool’s attack. Played well and as always… A strong consistent player.

Joel Matip 8

Wasn’t that good against Leicester, but played really well against the Gunners.

Ragnar Klavan 7

Didn’t do much… But he did what he had to do, and was a good change after Lucas was appauling against Leicester.

James Milner 8

Played well, and kept Arsenal off during the attack.

Emre Can 8

Took Henderson’s position in the last two games but has shown Jürgen Klopp what he can do. A few more good performances from him… and he will certainly be awarded with a contract. But overall he does deserve a new c0ntract as he is young and can improve.

Adam Lallana 8

Gave Liverpool the “oomf” whilst attacking during the first half but died down during the second half. All in all it was a solid performance from Adam Lallana

Georginio Wijnaldum 8

Just scraped an 8. He was sloppy on the ball, and was our worst midfielder on the pitch. But got the goal for us.

Sadio Mané 9 (MOTM)

Brilliant performance… Did everything he could do and setted up Firmino brilliantly for the first goal infront of the Kop. With 12 PL goals this season, this shows that he is certainly our key player.

Roberto Firmino 8

Great performance and setted up Sadio Mané amazingly. Good performance overall.

Phillipe Coutinho 8

Not much to say… had a few good shots. Unfortunately, none went in.
