Thomas Frank has helped cement Brentford’s Premier League club status over the previous seasons. Their data driven high-energy football make them a desirable destination for any young players trying to prove themselves in the league. This season the bees sit 11th in Premier League on 28 points with 8 wins, 4 draws, and 9 losses. However, their home record is like no other with 23 of them points coming at the Gtech this season, the same amount of home points as Liverpool at Anfield.
Brentford’s shot conversion rate is the best in the division at 14.5%, in comparison Liverpool’s is 10.4%. Brentford have scored 40 league goals with 24 of them coming from Bryan Mbeumo (13) and Yoane Wissa (11). Mikkel Damsgaard is the most creative player in their side with 6 assists so far this campaign.

Familiar Faces
Former reds Sepp Van Den Berg and Fábio Carvalho departed for West London this summer for a combined intial fee of £42.5m. Sepp has racked up 1,430 minutes this season for Brentford and has become a staple on the team sheet. The same can’t be said for Fábio Carvalho who’s struggled to break into the starting XI only managing 3 starts in his 16 appearances this season.

Last Season
Liverpool won 2-0 at Anfield making light work of Brentford earlier in the season, the reds have won the last 4 meetings.
Last season Liverpool cruised to a 1-4 win here with 4 different scorers. Darwin Núñez opened the scoring with a fabulous chip one of his best goals in a Liverpool shirt.
