Curtis Jones and Caoimhin Kelleher faced off at Wembley last night in a 5-0 win for England.

The Republic of Ireland kept the score 0-0 until just after half-time. Liam Scales fouled Jude Bellingham in the penalty area and received a second yellow card for his troubles. Harry Kane converted the penalty and opened the floodgates for an emphatic Wembley win for the three lions. The victory secured England top spot and promotion to League A.

Curtis Jones played just short of 80 minutes before being substituted. It was another impressive performance for the midfielder who finished the game with a pass accuracy of 93%.

Caoimhin Kelleher shouldn’t be disheartened by the scoreline. A leaky Irish back line, after being reduced to 10, left the keeper under immense pressure and he arguably kept the scoreline down.

Kostas Tsimikas played 90 minutes for Greece, in a routine 0-2 victory away to Finland. Greece, who were reliant on Ireland getting a result, finish 2nd in the group. They will now take place in the UEFA Nations League Play-Offs in March.

Ibou Konate captained France to a 1-3 victory away in Italy. Konate bossed the San Siro for the second time this season, the win securing top of the group and progression to the UEFA Nations League knockout rounds.
